LEAD PASTOR

Josh has served as Lead Pastor since 2019. He and his wife, Melissa, have been married since 2014 and have four sons. Josh is a graduate of Malone University and Asbury Theological Seminary. Josh enjoys running, playing board games, and spicy foods.

Josh appreciates the generosity and vibrant prayer life of East Goshen.

OVERSIGHT ELDER

Samantha has attend East Goshen since childhood. She and her husband, Bill, have been married since 1995. They have two children. Samantha enjoys gardening and decorating in her free time.

Samantha loves the faithfulness and genuine love of community at East Goshen.

SPIRITUAL LIFE ELDER

Susan grew up attending East Goshen. She has been married to George for 45 years. Susan currently leads worship on Sunday morning and Wednesday night prayer meeting.

CHURCH LIFE ELDER

Melissa has been attending East Goshen since 2019. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, and together they have four sons. Melissa enjoys running, beautifying spaces, and playing board games.

Melissa loves the fun atmosphere and playfulness of Messy Church at East Goshen.

MISSIONS ELDER

Arlinda has attended East Goshen for 20 years. She and her husband, John, have two sons. Arlinda also serves in the nursery and manages the church library. Arlinda enjoys raising animals, watching science-fiction, and gardening.

Arlinda love the close-knit and supportive community at East Goshen.

FINANCE ELDER

Tom has been attending East Goshen Friends with his family since January 2022. Tom and his wife, Debi, have been married 31 years and have three daughters; Laura, Allison, and Kate.

What attracted them to the church is the community within the congregation. They appreciate being able to know all the members and enjoy fellowship at the get togethers and lunches.

MEMBER AT LARGE

Karen has attended East Goshen Friends for 51 years. In addition to serving on the board, Karen volunteers with Go Kids and Messy Church.

Things she enjoys about East Goshen are helping with craft workshops and small group Bible study.

Beth has attended East Goshen since 2016. She and her husband, Rhett, have been married since 1997. They have 4 daughters; Angel, Taylor, Carrie, and Elizabeth. They also have a granddaughter, Serenity, and grandson, Leeland. Beth’s hobbies are reading, crafts, and spending time with family.

The thing Beth likes most about East Goshen is the feel of a small country church and the outreach to the community and beyond.
